★ Comprehensive Sites
A Communities In Schools Comprehensive Site provides two level of services for the school. The level of services is characterized by the needs of the school and its students.
- Level 1 or school-wide CIS services are widely accessible to any student at the Communities In School site. They are short-term interventions that are provided or brokered in on an as-needed or as-available basis. Students need not be enrolled in a specific CIS initiative to receive the services.
- Level 2 or focused case management services are directed to students with specific needs. The services are designed to assist the student with improve grades, attendance and/or behavior. Students receiving these services meet on a weekly basis with a site coordinator.
